The Gilchrist Team
I have over 35 years of experience in practice, all in Penticton, providing me with a depth of knowledge in a wide range of areas, equipping me with well-informed practicality and the ability to find effective common sense solutions to my clients’ legal challenges.
I chose to get into law in order to help people solve their problems and address their needs. I work with my clients to try and reach timely cost-effective solutions by endeavoring to draw upon all of my experiences as a lawyer.
My clients’ satisfaction with the advice and solutions that I am able to provide to them is incredibly rewarding. In my time at the bar, I have been fortunate to gain a diverse world view, which translates into common sense but strategic solutions to the problems presented to me.
Outside the office, I am actively involved in several organizations serving our community. My better half and I enjoy travelling, cooking and playing sports, primarily golf and curling, both together and against each other.
My goal is to give the best possible advice combining my legal knowledge with personal experience to develop creative, practical and cost effective solutions. My practice is primarily focused on business law, real estate, estate planning and estate administration. Much of my satisfaction from work comes from developing long term relationships with my clients and becoming a trusted advisor to them and their family. Work/life balance is important to me and I enjoy a variety of outdoor sports, reading, travel and spending time with my family.
